According to many sources, Babcock has been hired as the next coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets. We discussed the good, the bad, and the ugly. Ivan Provorov has been traded to Columbus in a three team trade involving the Flyers and Kings. Provorov brings a little bit of controversy with him, we shared our thoughts.

Severson is on his way to Columbus from New Jersey, Jarmo pulled off a sign and trade. Olivier just signed a two year extension, solid move by the Jackets. Hitchcock is headed to the Hockey Hall of Fame, first coach in Jackets history to be elected. Andrew Peeke is apparently gaining interest from around the league for a possible trade. Jackets uninterested in Kevin Hayes? Tortorella possibly linked to the reason. BetMGM has Carlsson as the third overall pick, that seems to be the Jacket most likely outcome.
